The Web Soil Survey provides public access to the official national soils information system, including valuable soils maps and related data that can help producers, conservationists, city planners, and others make informed land use decisions. The upgraded site has many improvements, including the option to produce custom soil resource reports.

Archived Soil Surveys

Archived soil surveys provide detailed information about the soils for an entire survey area at the time the soil mapping was completed. Survey areas are commonly an entire county.
