[A profile of a Boykin soil.]The Boykin series consists of deep, well drained, moderately permeable soils that formed in sandy and loamy coastal plain sediments of Pleistocene age. These gently sloping to moderately steep soils are on uplands. Slopes range from 1 to 20 percent.

Taxonomic class: Loamy, siliceous, active, thermic Arenic Paleudults
