[A profile of a Clarendon soil.]The Clarendon series consists of very deep, moderately well drained, moderately slowly permeable soils that formed in loamy marine deposits. These soils are on nearly level to strongly sloping uplands. Slopes range from 0 to 12 percent.

Taxonomic class: Fine-loamy, siliceous, semiactive, thermic Plinthaquic Paleudults
