[A profile of an El Cacique soil.]The El Cacique series consists of shallow, well drained, moderately slowly permeable soils that formed in colluvium and residuum that weathered from serpentinite bedrock. These soils are on serpentine hills and mountains. Slopes range from 5 to 90 percent.

Taxonomic class: Clayey, magnesic, isohyperthermic, shallow Typic Argiudolls
