[A profile of a Falmouth soil.]The Falmouth series consists of very deep, somewhat poorly drained, very slowly permeable soils that formed in clayey marine deposits. These soils are on level to strongly sloping uplands. Slopes range from 0 to 8 percent.

Taxonomic class: Fine, smectitic, thermic Aquertic Chromic Hapludalfs
