[A profile of a Goldsboro soil.]The Goldsboro series consists of very deep, moderately well drained, moderately permeable soils that formed in loamy marine sediments. These soils are on nearly level flats. Slopes range from 0 to 2 percent.

Taxonomic class: Fine-loamy, siliceous, subactive, thermic Aquic Paleudults
