[A profile of a Lucedale soil.]The Lucedale series consists of deep, well drained, moderately permeable soils that formed in loamy sediments. These nearly level to strongly sloping soils are in uplands of the Southern Coastal Plain Major Land Resource Area. Slopes range from 0 to 15 percent.

Taxonomic class: Fine-loamy, siliceous, subactive, thermic Rhodic Paleudults
