The Toccoa series consists of very
deep, moderately well drained and well drained, moderately rapid permeable soils
that formed in alluvium. These soils are on flood plains and have slopes that
range from 0 to 4 percent. Near the type location, the mean annual temperature
is about 61 degrees F and average annual precipitation is about 50 inches.
