This Web site provides links to complete, archived soil surveys for states in
MLRA Soil Survey Region 7.
As time passes, the data in published surveys become dated. The official
information about the soils in a given area is available from the
Soil Data Mart, which provides
the most current data about the soils. If spatial data are available, the
Web Soil Survey also
provides access to the most current information. It is an interface that allows
the user to define an area of interest, to view and print a soil map, to assess
soil data about the area, and to obtain information about the suitability of the
soils for selected uses.
The Natural Resources Conservation Service is committed to making its
information accessible to all of its customers and employees. If you are
experiencing accessibility issues and need assistance, please contact our
Helpdesk at 1 (800) 457-3642 or e-mail at
ServiceDesk-FTC@ftc.usda.gov. For assistance with publications that
include maps, graphs, or similar forms of information, you may also wish to
contact the State or local office. You can locate the correct office and phone
number at http://offices.sc.egov.usda.gov/locator/app.
